Too Old to Run

If McCain, 70, runs and wins, he would be the oldest person ever inaugurated as president. As is evident from the scar on the left side of his face, he has had malignant melanoma, the most invasive and dangerous form of skin cancer. (One in every 60 Americans is at risk for developing invasive melanoma in their lifetimes.)

McCain is a joke. First off he's 70. Will he even make it past inaugeration if elected?? We need someone young and vibrant with new ideas able to lead this country. The President is a figure of the United States. Their appearnce, more than anything, is a key indicator to other countries that we have a person of power in that position representing the U.S. If the face of the President is someone older who looks like they could
kick the bucket any time now then that sends out the wrong message.

Obama on the other hand is in perfect condition besides the fact he smokes, but he is attem
pting to quit. SMOKING IS BAD! - but not as bad as a republican or Hillary winning this November.

Update: WASHINGTON- U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's health was in an excellent condition shown from his latest body checkup 16 months ago, his doctor said on Thursday.

Chicago internist Dr. David T. Scheiner, who has been taking care of Obama's health since 1987, summarized his 21 years of medical records in a letter released by Obama's campaign.

According to the letter, the Illinois senator, 46, has no "excess body fat" for he being a regular jogger.

He also had an excellent blood pressure at 90 over 60, and healthy cholesterol level at 173 compared to the normal level of under 200, the doctor said of the result of the checkup in January2007.
